At the spring meeting of the University of Delaware Board of Trustees, two faculty members in the professional education program were promoted to Associate Professor. Dr. Jill Flynn in the College of Arts and Sciences teaches English Language Arts methods courses and supervises student teachers in the Secondary English Education Program. Dr. William Lewis is in the School of Education in the College of Education and Human Development teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in content-area literacy, English language arts (ELA) methods, writing, and young adult literature, and serves as the coordinator for both the middle school ELA and ELA Master of Arts in Teaching programs at the university.
