UD Teacher training designed to avoid child abuse

At the University of Delaware, students studying to become teachers are regularly immersed in training designed to avoid future sexual misconduct issues with minors, while protecting children under their care as well.

Linda Zankowsky, associate director for clinical studies in the UD Delaware Center For Teacher Education, said a high emphasis is placed on making appropriate judgments concerning teachers’ proper relationships with students.  Read more…
