Teacher Education Graduates Receive Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement

Ten distinguished University of Delaware alumni were honored with the Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement on Friday, Oct. 17, as part of Homecoming Weekend. The ceremony was held  in the Gore Recital Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts, followed by a reception.  There were three undergraduate teacher education graduates among the recipients. Scott A. Barber ’96, is head of quality, User Operations at Facebook; Emmanuel Caulk Jr. ’96 ’02M is the superintendent of the Portland School District, and  Mark L. Strasser ’02, is the health and physical education teacher, coach, and athletic director at Rainbow Community School in Asheville, North Carolina.  Read more…
